WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE STAND FOR
PURPOSE
Alpha Alpha Psi Sorority, Incorporated is a Christian belief- based, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to meet spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women worldwide. We are committed to encouraging women to become positive, productive, and purpose-filled, to carry out the work God created us to do. Alpha Alpha Psi Sorority, Inc. provides women with a great social circle as well as academic, leadership, and career opportunities.
VISION
Our vision to become an international Christ-centered sisterhood that equips women to grow in their relationships with Christ through unity and service to others, at institutions of higher learning.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Alpha Alpha Psi, Incorporated is to empower women to discover the power of the Holy Spirit through faith to serve God and their community, to promote confidence through prayer, bible study, sisterhood, and community service.

The “Holy Bible” represents the sorority as our Bread of Life. Our guide and instructions for our total being. We are a “Christian Belief” foundational organization.

The “Cross” represents the sorority of the LOVE that Jesus Christ demonstrated for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His life.

The “Helping Hands” represents the sorority’s assistance, help or aid to others in need. We are always willing to lend/give a helping hand.

The “Lioness” represents the sorority’s strength. It is said that the lion is the king of the jungle, but it is the lioness who does the hunting. It is the Lioness who takes care of the pride. Our spirit is formidable.

represents resurrection and rebirth; also carries the meaning of innocence
Official Colors:
Royal Blue
In the bible, royal blue can represent superiority. It spiritually signifies the healing power of God. It is the most sublime subject and color which biblically represents the Word of God. The very fact that the
Sky is blue stands for the presence of Yahweh.
Purple
Purple represents the meaning of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride and royalty.
Gold
Gold represents wealth and monetary gain. In the bible it’s thought to be the most valuable thing in life, yet it’s actually Jesus Christ that is. Psalms 119:127: "Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more than fine gold!"
